   Dear Sir/Madam,

   I have just read an article on your website (written by Peter) titled “How to find start-up business grants, loans and investments” which I found very interesting, however to myself, most seemed to be unrelated to my specific concern. I wonder if you would be able to provide any advice regarding my current situation;

   I am a UK citizen currently working with a US partner in Ethiopia, where I have been based for the past year. We are in the process of establishing a private company working in the water supply sector; for which there is a significant need of development within. The government accepts and has published its concerns regarding the need to develop the capacity of private sector water sourcing companies in order to meet its development goals in this sector.

   Whilst the above-mentioned article was aimed specifically at start-up companies within the UK, are you able to offer any advice regarding the acquisition of grants, loans or investments for private companies looking to work within international development?

   Any comments or thoughts would be very much appreciated.
